Position Overview
As a Partner Manager, you will play a pivotal role in proactively identifying and securing new partners with the capability to integrate UK standards into their solutions and drive adoption at scale. You will facilitate and drive relationships with key partners, ensuring recognition of and delivery against the organisation\’s priorities. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by improving the partner programme, maximising revenue from events, and building strong relationships across healthcare, retail, traceability, sustainability sectors and the construction industry. Your efforts will directly contribute to advancing standardisation and efficiency within the construction sector.
Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and secure new partners capable of integrating UK standards into their solutions and driving adoption at scale within the construction industry
- Facilitate and drive relationships with key partners, ensuring recognition of and delivery against organisational priorities
- Improve the partner programme, including annual roadmap review, partner approvals, and regular communications
- Ensure the efficient running of the partner programme, including invoicing, communications, website upgrades, and compliance
- Support the delivery of national activity such as representative groups and conferences, including speaker acquisition and preparation
- Maximise revenue from events by working with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of conferences and partner events
- Lead the partner team\’s key account management programme, ensuring appropriate and complete information is held in business systems
- Develop the partner programme across healthcare, retail, traceability, sustainability sectors and the construction industry
- Arrange and deliver high-quality training to partners in collaboration with the standards and consulting team, with a particular focus on the application of UK standards within construction
Requirements
- Experience within healthcare and/or construction, ideally with exposure to retail or supply chain ecosystems
- Demonstrated ability to build, manage, and convert a commercial pipeline, with clear evidence of delivering revenue growth or market adoption within the construction industry
- Strong key account management experience, including senior-level engagement and influencing, segmentation and tiering frameworks
- Proven track record of turning partnerships into measurable commercial outcomes within the construction industry
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distil complex value propositions for different audiences
- Comfortable negotiating commercial agreements and managing competing interests
- High level of business acumen, able to spot cross-team and cross-sector opportunities
- Experience facilitating partner or industry groups towards strategic consensus and sector-wide solutions within the construction industry
- Strong collaborator, experienced in cross-functional environments and delivering against strategic plans
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications and cyber security awareness aligned with the UK Cyber Essentials framework
