We are looking for a proactive and experienced Operations Manager to lead and scale core operational teams across Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Production for a high-growth company operating within the wellness and sports nutrition manufacturing sector both B2B and B2C.
As Operations Manager, you will lead a high-impact operations function—driving performance across production, procurement, logistics, inventory, and warehousing. You’ll collaborate closely with senior leadership and work alongside other supply chain stakeholders to ensure supply meets demand, operations run smoothly, and strategic targets are achieved.
Key Responsibilities- Lead planning, forecasting, and quality control initiatives
- Drive continuous improvement across product output and consistency
- Own supplier relationships, sourcing, and cost negotiations
- Forecast demand and align procurement strategy accordingly
- Ensure accurate stock levels across all sales channels
- Improve SOPs, workflow automation, and efficiency across departments
- Champion Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement practices
- Ensure operational compliance with H&S standards and legal requirements
- Lead safety audits, policy documentation, and training programmes
- Maintain food safety, labelling, and manufacturing compliance
- Proven experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing or supply chain setting
- Production Planning Experience
- Proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle NetSuite experience preferred)
- Strong team leadership and cross-functional management skills
- Background in Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent communication, data analysis, and organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise and thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
This is a 5 days on-site role. Salary banding is from £40,000 - £50,000 + bonus and benefits. Unfortunately sponsorship is not available for this role.
