We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Master Data Analyst to join our dynamic FMCG business in London. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of master data across multiple systems, supporting business operations and decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams while driving continuous improvements in data governance and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain master data
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and standardisation of data across business functions.
- Support new product introductions, product lifecycle management, and pricing updates.
- Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures in alignment with business needs.
- Collaborate with supply chain, sales, marketing, and finance teams to deliver high-quality data for reporting and analysis.
- Monitor data quality and perform regular audits to identify and correct discrepancies.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve data management processes.
- Act as the subject matter expert for master data, supporting system upgrades and business transformation projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3+ years’ experience in a master data, data management, or data governance role within FMCG or a similar fast-paced industry.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP highly advantageous).
- Proficient in Excel and data analysis tools; familiarity with Power BI is an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
This is a hybrid role where you will work 2 days a week in the office.
Salary banding is £35,000 – £45,000 + 10% bonus, pension, healthcare
