A well known SME FMCG brand is looking for an accomplished Supply Chain Planner to join their team. As the Supply Planner you will be managing finished goods to ensure stock availability and optimizing inventory across your given region. You’ll collaborate with the other planning teams to support product launches and ensure customer demand is met.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and track short- and long-term supply plans to ensure stock availability while meeting inventory targets.
- Confirm purchase orders with co-packers, including delivery dates, quantities, and bill of materials.
- Identify and report risks related to slow-moving or obsolete stock, working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Monitor potential stock-outs due to production delays or changes in demand and take action to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with product development teams to support new product launches and ensure timely project delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
- Conduct root cause analysis on relevant KPIs, such as inventory turns and plan compliance.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Proven supply planning experience ideally in the FMCG space.
- Knowledge of MRP.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and people skills, with a sense of urgency and responsibility.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a cross-functional international team environment.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
