A fast-growing, technology-led insights and strategy business is preparing for a significant upcoming public sector engagement and is looking to appoint a Senior Insights Manager to play a key role in its delivery.
The Role
This position sits at the intersection of data, strategy, and communications, with responsibility for turning complex audience and market data into clear, actionable insight. You will lead the end-to-end insight generation process across key accounts, with a particular focus on public sector work. The role requires someone who can go beyond reporting, drawing out meaningful conclusions that directly inform communications, media planning, and engagement strategies. You will also act as a senior point of contact for clients, presenting work and helping shape strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead insight development and strategic output across major client accounts
- Design and deliver audience and market analysis using a combination of data sources
- Translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations across communications and media strategy
- Present work to senior stakeholders in a confident and engaging manner
- Produce high-quality reports and presentations with a strong narrative focus
- Work closely with internal strategy, planning, and activation teams to ensure delivery of recommendations
- Contribute to the ongoing development of methodologies and ways of working
Experience Required
- 4+ years’ experience in a strategy, insights, or consulting role
- Background in areas such as media strategy, audience insights, research, or communications planning
- Experience working with data-led tools (e.g. audience intelligence, research platforms, or social listening tools)
- Strong ability to interpret data and translate it into strategic recommendations
- Comfortable working in a hands-on capacity with data and outputs
- Confident presenter with experience engaging senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical thinking combined with commercial awareness
