A leading chilled food business is looking for an ambitious Account Executive to join its Commercial team. Operating across a portfolio of well-known consumer brands alongside private label products, the business supplies major UK grocery retailers and continues to invest heavily in growth across the category.

This is an exciting opportunity for a junior commercial professional looking to develop their career within a fast-paced FMCG environment, supporting key grocery accounts alongside an experienced Senior National Account Manager.

Location: Surrey-based office with hybrid working (up to 2 days from home, business dependent).

Reporting into the Senior National Account Manager, you will support the delivery of customer commercial plans across branded and own-label products within major grocery retail accounts.

  • Supporting the delivery of customer business plans and sales objectives
  • Building relationships with customer buying assistants and internal cross-functional teams
  • Managing forecasting, promotional planning, evaluation and post-promotion analysis
  • Supporting pricing and promotional strategy execution in line with budget targets
  • Supporting financial administration and invoicing accuracy alongside Finance teams
  • Helping deliver market-leading commercial activity across key retail customers

Minimum requirements:

  • 2 years’ experience within a commercial or sales environment
  • Exposure to the UK grocery or retail environment preferred
  • Strong relationship-building abilities internally and externally
