We’re looking for a Senior Insight Manager to join a fast-growing, insight-led business within the FMCG space. This is a high-impact role where you’ll turn complex data into clear, strategic insight that drives commercial, marketing and product decisions for leading clients. You’ll take full ownership of insight projects end to end, delivering high-quality analysis and storytelling that positions the business as a trusted authority in the market. Working closely with commercial, marketing, and data teams, you’ll shape thinking across key areas including convenience and wholesale, identifying market trends, risks, and opportunities. You’ll also play a key role externally, confidently presenting insights to clients and stakeholders through reports, presentations, and webinars.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver strategic, market-leading insight using tools such as Power BI, Excel (Pivot Tables), or similar platforms
- Lead end-to-end insight projects, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely delivery
- Analyse market trends to identify commercial opportunities and risks
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insight for non-technical audiences
- Produce high-impact reports, presentations, and client-facing deliverables
- Present findings to stakeholders both in-person and virtually
- Manage project workflows and resource planning across multiple workstreams
- Coach and support junior team members
About You:
- Proven experience delivering independent insight, research, and data analysis
- Strong analytical skills with tools such as Power BI, Excel, or similar
- Experience with market research methods and interpreting complex datasets
- Confident project manager with strong organisational skills
- Excellent communicator with strong presentation and report writing ability
- Able to simplify complex data into clear commercial stories
- Experience in food & drink, FMCG, grocery, convenience, or wholesale is highly desirable
- Otherwise, a genuine interest in the food & drink sector and ability to quickly learn a new industry
