We are partnering with a globally recognised insights and analytics business that works with leading consumer brands to better understand and influence shopper behaviour. As the organisation continues to expand internationally, the insights function is evolving in both scale and sophistication. With this growth comes the need for stronger leadership within the team, and we are now looking to hire an Insights Team Lead to play a key role in driving delivery excellence and supporting the development of the European insights function.
This role sits at the heart of a high-performing insights team, combining hands-on delivery with team leadership. You will lead a team of five researchers across Europe, ensuring high-quality outputs while coaching and developing individuals to reach their full potential. Alongside managing day-to-day delivery, you will work closely with senior stakeholders to refine ways of working, improve efficiency, and help shape how insights are delivered as the business continues to grow. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys leading from the front – balancing people leadership, client impact, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of five researchers across the European insights function
- Drive high standards of delivery across all research projects, ensuring quality, consistency, and impact
- Coach team members on storytelling, insight generation, and client communication
- Oversee multiple research workstreams, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard
- Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, building strong internal and external relationships
- Support improvements to workflows, processes, and delivery frameworks
- Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and elevate output quality
- Partner with senior leadership to support the ongoing evolution of the insights function
- Contribute to embedding new tools, technologies, and more efficient research approaches
- Monitor team performance and support ongoing development and productivity
- Strong experience within market research, consumer insights, or analytics environments
- Previous experience leading, managing, or mentoring researchers
- A track record of delivering high-quality, insight-led outputs for stakeholders or clients
- Strong storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset, with a desire to improve ways of working
