Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 (dependent on experience) + bonus and benefits

Shift: 5 out of 7 - 12noon - 10pm

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all inbound operations, including goods-in, goods-out, deliveries and stock movement with accurate booking and SLA adherence.
  • Inspire, coach and develop warehouse team members, fostering a safe, engaged and high-performance working culture.
  • Maintain robust quality control standards across all inbound and warehouse processes.
  • Partner with other departments to ensure smooth operational flow and exceptional customer outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity and service levels.
  • Monitor and analyse operational performance metrics, taking action to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Ensure stock accuracy and replenishment processes are maintained to support operational demand.
  • Support resource planning to meet changing business volumes and priorities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing teams in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills with strong communication abilities.
  • Solid understanding of people management processes including absence and performance management.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with a commitment to accuracy, quality and safety.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is preferred.
  • Forklift certification is advantageous.
