Our client is a global leader in shopper intelligence and personalised retail media. For nearly four decades they have helped many of the world's largest FMCG/CPG brands and retailers turn purchase data into measurable commercial growth. Operating across six major international markets and reaching hundreds of millions of shoppers, the business analyses billions of retail transactions every year, drawn from tens of thousands of connected stores. That gives it one of the richest and most complete views of real shopper behaviour anywhere in the industry; the kind of first-party purchase data most brands can only dream of. Behind that sits a substantial team of product, data and technology specialists building the platforms, AI/ML models and personalised media that power offers and campaigns at scale. For someone early in their career, this is a rare chance to break into product management at a recognised market leader, learning how a data-driven technology business really works.

The Role

This is a fantastic entry point into product management, ideal for an organised, ambitious individual with 1–2 years' experience in an administrative or operations role who is ready to take the next step into product and technology. Working alongside experienced Product Managers, you'll help keep the product roadmap moving - coordinating across teams, keeping documentation and backlogs in order, gathering requirements, and making sure delivery runs smoothly. You'll bring the organisation, attention to detail and people skills from your operations background, and in return you'll gain hands-on product experience and mentorship in a fast-paced, data-led environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the product team in the day-to-day delivery of the product roadmap.
  • Coordinate across engineering, data, commercial and client teams to keep initiatives on track and on schedule.
  • Maintain product documentation, backlogs and release notes so information is clear, current and easy to find.
  • Gather and document requirements from stakeholders and help translate them into clear tickets and user stories.
  • Track progress, timelines and dependencies, flagging risks and blockers early.
  • Support user acceptance testing and quality checks ahead of releases.
  • Help gather and review user feedback and product usage to inform prioritisation.
  • Own the operational and administrative processes that keep the product function running smoothly.

Requirements:

  • 1–2 years' experience in an administrative and/or operations role.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and excellent coordination skills.
  • Strong communication β€” comfortable working across both technical and commercial teams.
  • A proactive problem-solver with a genuine interest in product, technology or data.
  • Able to juggle competing priorities and keep several projects moving at once without dropping the detail.
  • Confident with everyday business tools (Excel / Google Sheets, and collaboration or project-tracking tools).
  • Exposure to product management, project coordination or Agile ways of working.
  • Interest in or exposure to FMCG/CPG, retail, media or data.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana or similar.
