Management Accountant (Fully Qualified) in Guildford

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and commentary
• Monitor KPIs and provide insights to support operational improvements
• Manage VAT and other statutory reporting
• Analyse product margins, distribution costs, and overheads
• Support pricing decisions and profitability analysis
• Track inventory valuation and oversee stock-related processes
• Work closely with commercial teams to optimise working capital and stock levels
• Ensure adherence to financial controls and company policies
• Support internal and external audits and maintain regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with commercial and operational teams to provide financial insights
• Assist with strategic and operational improvement projects

Requirements

• Fully qualified (CIMA or ACCA)
• Line management experience
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups)
• Experience with ERP systems and BI tools
• Background in a product-based business (retail, manufacturing, distribution, etc.)
• Experience working in a multicurrency environment
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, adaptable, and able to work under pressure
