Company Overview: Our client is a rapidly expanding UK wellness brand operating across multiple product categories and retail channels. The business is scaling a global direct-to-consumer presence with a strong focus on premium quality, performance, and long-term brand building. The company culture is grounded in extreme ownership — individuals take full responsibility for outcomes, not just outputs — paired with a deep belief that excellence is a habit. They’re building a team of passionate, purpose-driven people who care deeply about craft, growth, and doing things properly.
Position Overview: As Digital Designer (E-commerce, UX/UI), you will own how the brand shows up across its entire digital ecosystem. This is a hands‑on role at the centre of the DTC business, responsible for shaping the website, landing pages, product pages, CRM and digital touchpoints that directly impact conversion, retention, and brand perception. You’ll design and optimise high-performing, on‑brand digital experiences across Shopify, ensuring the customer journey is intuitive, friction‑free, and conversion‑led. Working closely with founders, performance marketing, retention, and creative teams, you’ll translate insights and strategy into best‑in‑class execution. This role suits a designer from an e-commerce / DTC‑driven brand who understands that great design is both storytelling and performance — and who wants full ownership over how a brand lives and performs online.
Responsibilities:
- Own UX and UI design across the website, landing pages, and product pages, optimising journeys for clarity, speed, and conversion.
- Lead digital design execution across Shopify, ensuring designs are developer‑friendly and scalable.
- Build and maintain structured Figma systems to support rapid iteration, testing, and CRO initiatives.
- Design high‑performing CRM emails and lifecycle flows that feel premium and drive engagement.
- Partner with performance marketing teams to design landing pages and assets tailored to traffic source and campaign intent.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to translate behavioural insights, analytics, and testing results into design improvements.
- Create digital assets for paid and organic social channels including Meta, TikTok, and Pinterest.
- Ensure digital design decisions support SEO, usability, and long‑term site performance.
- Design brand presentations, internal toolkits, and retail‑facing decks as required.
- Produce print‑ready artwork for retail and offline touchpoints, maintaining consistency across channels.
- Use AI and emerging creative tools to enhance ideation, workflow efficiency, and experimentation.
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience as a digital‑first designer within a direct‑to‑consumer or e‑commerce‑led business.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating premium brand work across web, UX/UI, and digital experiences.
- Deep understanding of UX principles and how design impacts conversion, behaviour, and performance.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience designing for Shopify, landing pages, email, social, and digital advertising.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to own projects end‑to‑end.
- High attention to detail with a performance‑focused mindset.
- Comfortable working in fast‑paced environments with frequent iteration and testing.
- Motion design skills (After Effects or similar).
- Interest in AI tools and emerging creative technology.
- 3D design experience is a plus.
