Our client is a global leader in the FMCG sector and is looking for a Director to join their business due to internal progression. They offer a fast-paced and supportive environment with significant opportunities for career growth.
As the Supply Chain Planning Director, you will lead a large team responsible for all raw material planning across the EMEA region. This is a strategic role with a significant financial impact. You will also drive the transformation of planning systems and processes, shaping the future of the supply chain function within the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of planning professionals.
- Oversee material planning across the EMEA region.
- Ensure material availability to meet targets.
- Minimise costs related to product obsolescence and expedited transport.
- Collaborate with procurement to manage and improve supplier performance.
- Lead the transformation of material planning systems, including SAP.
- Represent the team in the sales and operations planning process.
- Manage planning for new product development projects.
- Set and manage raw material inventory targets and strategy.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior planning role within FMCG.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience managing senior managers.
- Expertise in planning for international markets, particularly EMEA.
- Excellent analytical skills to provide meaningful business insights.
- Ability to plan and prioritise multiple complex projects effectively.
- Experience operating and influencing at a strategic level.
- A degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field.
This is a hybrid role where you will be expected to be in the office 50% of the time. The salary bracket is from Β£80,000 - Β£90,000 + car allowance, bonus and benefits. Unfortunately, sponsorship is not available for this position.
