An exciting opportunity has come up for a Creative Designer to join a fast-growing FMCG brand and play a key role in shaping its visual identity across digital, trade, and packaging design. This is a highly creative and innovative role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a real impact.

About the Role

As the sole designer in the UK business, you will work closely with the US-based Creative Director and team while collaborating with the local Marketing team. With no other in-house designers in the UK, this role is critical for maintaining brand consistency and ensuring a high standard of creative output. This role is perfect for a creative yet highly reliable designer who is comfortable working on a variety of projects, from rolling out artwork to developing new creative ideas for pop-ups and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand Consistency & Design Execution: Ensure all design work aligns with brand guidelines across digital, trade, and packaging. 70% of the role – Creating packaging designs, PoS materials, social media content, and marketing assets. 30% of the role – Ideating and conceptualising new activations, including experimental pop-ups.
  • Freelancer & Project Management: Oversee external designers and specialists (e.g., video editors) to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Digital & Socials: Design compelling digital assets for social media, email marketing, and website content.
  • Basic Animation & Video Editing: Ability to create simple animations or edit short-form video content.
  • Trade & Activation Support: Develop creative assets for trade marketing, ensuring the brand stands out in a competitive market.
  • Stakeholder Management: Confidently present creative ideas, push back when necessary, and explain design decisions effectively.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience in an agency or in-house creative role, ideally within B2C marketing (FMCG, food & beverage, or similar brands).
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) with a strong eye for design, layout, and typography.
  • Attention to detail – no room for spelling mistakes or inconsistencies.
  • Basic video editing and animation skills (After Effects or similar) are a plus.
  • Highly organized & project management-oriented – ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
  • Confident personality – able to push back, explain creative decisions, and manage expectations.
  • Passionate about the food & drink industry with strong commercial awareness.
