We are looking for a Supply Chain Cost Analyst to join our client who is a global leader in the FMCG space. The Supply Chain Cost Analyst is a critical role within the team, responsible for developing and implementing the most cost-effective operating models across the end to end supply chain. The objective is to continuously identify and deliver productivity improvements and optimise the total cost to serve.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop and lead initiatives to reduce total supply chain costs through optimised operating models
- Identify and deliver productivity gains across the supply chain
- Build costing models for new product launches and market expansions
- Determine optimal distribution strategies based on customer location, production costs, transport lanes, and applicable duties
- Analyse customs regulations (HTS codes, duties, VAT) to model accurate landed costs
- Partner with logistics and freight forwarders to ensure compliance and cost efficiency
- Support procurement in driving savings initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience
- 10–12 years’ experience in supply chain analytics and/or cost modelling
- Proven experience working cross-functionally in a complex matrix environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to lead, influence, and drive results
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with SAP is advantageous
- Deep understanding of customs duties, tariffs, VAT, and international tax codes
