We are looking for a Supply Chain Cost Analyst to join our client who is a global leader in the FMCG space. The Supply Chain Cost Analyst is a critical role within the team, responsible for developing and implementing the most cost-effective operating models across the end to end supply chain. The objective is to continuously identify and deliver productivity improvements and optimise the total cost to serve.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and lead initiatives to reduce total supply chain costs through optimised operating models
  • Identify and deliver productivity gains across the supply chain
  • Build costing models for new product launches and market expansions
  • Determine optimal distribution strategies based on customer location, production costs, transport lanes, and applicable duties
  • Analyse customs regulations (HTS codes, duties, VAT) to model accurate landed costs
  • Partner with logistics and freight forwarders to ensure compliance and cost efficiency
  • Support procurement in driving savings initiatives

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience
  • 10–12 years’ experience in supply chain analytics and/or cost modelling
  • Proven experience working cross-functionally in a complex matrix environment
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to lead, influence, and drive results
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with SAP is advantageous
  • Deep understanding of customs duties, tariffs, VAT, and international tax codes

This is a hybrid role where you'll be expected to be in the office 2 days a week. The salary bracket for this position is £50,000 - £55,000 + bonus and benefits. Unfortunately, sponsorship is not available for this position. Apply now for more details.
