We are partnered with a global leader in digital shopper research, supporting some of the world’s most recognised brands to better understand and influence consumer behaviour. This is a high-impact role sitting at the centre of a major transformation, offering the opportunity to shape how a research function operates, scales, and evolves.
The Opportunity: This is not a traditional insights role. The team is going through a significant shift in how research is delivered, with a strong move towards technology-enabled workflows, automation, and AI-driven outputs. Alongside this, the team structure is evolving across regions, creating a real need for someone who can help bring clarity, structure, and direction during change.
You will play a key role in:
- Driving and embedding new ways of working across the research function
- Helping shape how AI and automation enhance research delivery and reporting
- Improving workflow efficiency, output quality, and team productivity
- Supporting the evolution of a cross-regional team model
This is an opportunity to influence how a function operates at a foundational level, rather than simply delivering within it.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading and developing a cross-regional research team across Europe and beyond
- Overseeing end-to-end delivery of tech-enabled research projects
- Driving process optimisation and workflow improvements
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members to elevate client communication and storytelling
- Working closely with leadership to implement change initiatives and improve team performance
- Ensuring high-quality outputs that meet both internal standards and client expectations
What They’re Looking For
- Strong background in market research or insights (agency or client-side)
- Experience leading or mentoring teams and influencing ways of working
- Exposure to change, transformation, or process improvement initiatives
- Ability to think strategically as well as execute when needed
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders effectively
- FMCG or consumer sector experience is a plus, but not essential.
Why This Role Stands Out
- A genuine opportunity to shape and influence a function during transformation
- High visibility role with direct impact on team structure, processes, and outputs
- Blend of strategy, leadership, and hands-on involvement
- Working within a globally recognised, insight-led business investing heavily in innovation
