We’re partnering with a high-growth FMCG beverage business to hire a Commercial Manager to take ownership of its UK High Street retail channel. This is a hands-on commercial role with genuine autonomy, clear P&L ownership, and the opportunity to grow a developing customer base across leading High Street and value retailers.
The Role
Reporting into the UK Retail Controller, you’ll be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of High Street accounts, spanning health & wellbeing specialists, pharmacy, value, and convenience-led retailers, alongside supporting new business wins within the channel. You’ll own relationships end to end, drive profitable growth, and play a key role in shaping how the brand shows up across the UK High Street.
Key Responsibilities
- Full P&L ownership across your account portfolio
- End-to-end account management and joint business planning
- Driving growth through range, distribution, promotions, and activation
- Evaluating promotional performance and optimising trade spend
- Building strong, collaborative customer relationships
- Working cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and finance
- Identifying and landing new High Street opportunities
- Tracking market trends, competitor activity, and channel performance
What We’re Looking For
- At least 1 year’s experience in sales/account management or account executive roles with proven experience owning customer relationships and managing a P&L
- Proactive, commercially curious, and growth-oriented
- Confident working with numbers and performance data
- FMCG experience preferred but not essential
- Someone who enjoys pace, ownership, and building something
