As part of their next phase of growth, they're looking to hire a Junior National Account Manager to manage and grow their Convenience channel partnerships and help drive the brand into more hands, more often.
The Role
As Junior NAM, you'll take ownership of a defined portfolio of Convenience accounts, supporting the delivery of sustainable growth while building strong retailer relationships. You'll be working closely with a senior commercial lead, with real responsibility from day one and the structure to develop quickly.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day relationships across a portfolio of Convenience accounts
- Support the development and execution of Joint Business Plans
- Assist in commercial negotiations on promotions, pricing, and ranging
- Identify opportunities to drive distribution, rate of sale, and availability
- Use data and category insights to inform customer plans and internal decision-making
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, NPD, Finance, and Supply Chain
- Deliver clear and accurate performance reporting to the wider team
- Contribute to a positive, high-energy commercial team culture
The Person
- 1β3 years' experience in an FMCG sales or account management role
- Some exposure to Convenience, wholesale, or impulse channels is a strong advantage (e.g. Nisa, Spar, Bestway, etc)
- Commercially curious with a hunger to learn and progress
- Comfortable working with data and confident communicating insights
- Strong relationship builder β personable, proactive, and reliable
- Organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for health, fitness, or nutrition is a real bonus
