I’m currently working with a well-regarded law firm in Liverpool that is seeking to expand its clinical negligence team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Fee Earner, Advanced Paralegal, or Newly Qualified Solicitor with demonstrable experience in clinical negligence to join a supportive and growing team.
The role will be office-based in Liverpool and will involve handling a caseload of low-value clinical negligence files from inception to settlement or litigation. This includes liaising with clients, experts, counsel, and third parties, as well as preparing legal documentation and negotiating settlements. Assess and investigate claims, including reviewing medical records and obtaining expert evidence.
- Draft letters of claim, witness statements, and court documents.
- Ensure compliance with pre-action protocols and court deadlines.
