Fabric Engineer Reading £35,000 basic salary Monday- Friday 8am-5PM Job Purpose Reporting to the Contract Manager you will be working within the engineering team. You will provide all – round engineering support, maintaining the building infrastructure. You will undertake reactive and Pre Planned Fabric Maintenance. Providing an operationally efficient and safe commercial environment, for occupiers of the estate area whilst enhancing the value of the landlord’s asset. You will have a detailed understanding of all new of current Building Services systems and contingency procedures within the buildings and complying with the Health & Safety/Building Codes of practice. Duties * Develop and maintain a professional understanding and close working relationship with the Client, Property Managers, and all other team members. * To ensure the visitor experience on the site of the highest possible standard. * Always looking to maximise the potential of the clients asset through innovation and best practice. * Overall responsibility to ensure that health and safety, and safe working practices are followed. * To ensure all reports are delivered to the client in line with the timescales specified and are presented in a clear professional and coherent fashion. * Ensure, as far as reasonably practical, the health & safety of all occupiers, visitors, members of the public and the management team when on the Estate areas, ensuring that emergency procedures and safe working practices are established and maintained. * Promoting utilising and repairing rather than replace. * Manage their own procurement to include materials, tools and quotes.
