  • Job Purpose

Reporting to the Contract Manager you will act as a co-ordination point for the day-to-day activities on site.

You will interact with the team, specialist service partners and build strong relationships with the client and tenants.

As Site Supervisor you will be responsible for ensuring that all activities within the building are undertaken with a professional and conscientious outlook in line with our corporate objectives.

You should have robust interpersonal and team working skills, in addition to solid decision‑making abilities and the ability to multi‑task effectively.

Duties

  • Close liaison and working relationship with the Client
  • Operate all systems within the buildings in a competent, affective and efficient manner
  • Act as the Duty Authorised Person (HV) whilst on duty
  • Issue relevant site Permits as part of the Safe System of Work
  • Completion of PPM and reactive tasks and update the system.
  • Ensure that daily tours are completed and repair or report any defects found via the Landlord/Tenant helpdesk
  • Identification of materials required to be ordered in a timely manor
  • Compiling monthly reports
  • Comply with both statutory and company health, safety and environmental regulations and policies.
  • Timely implementation and recording of statutory inspections including accurate recording of fire and water hygiene records
  • Control of specialist contractors including monitoring of work performance and standards, including internal auditing where applicable
  • Ensure that Specialist Service Provider worksheets are signed off that quality of work is inspected and recommendations followed up
  • Take responsibility for escalating critical incidents and producing and submitting incident reports within the prescribed timescales in conjunction with the Contract Manager The Working Site Supervisor will ensure that Plant areas, workshops, stores, changing/rest areas etc. are kept to the highest level of housekeeping

The Site Supervisor will be expected to operate and trouble shoot all building systems but not be limited to the following:

  • Building Management Systems and electrical monitoring
  • Control system
  • Air handling, conditioning and terminal units –Fan Coil Units
  • Domestic water services
  • Fire prevention and detection systems
  • Fire alarm and voice alarm
  • VESDA
  • Fire suppression
  • Sprinkler
  • Variable speed drives
  • Generators, load banks and controls
  • AC, DC single phase and three phase motors
  • UPS systems, batteries, static switches and associated controls
