£45,000 + 25 days annual leave

Reporting to the Business Unit Manager / Contract Manager, you will support the delivery of engineering services across the contract. You will assist in the day-to-day activities of the engineering services team, supporting service delivery, compliance, and client satisfaction. You will support the operation whilst developing the skills required to take on increased responsibility within a contract environment.

Business Operations
  • Assist in the management and coordination of the PPM system
  • Support the supervision of permanent, temporary and contract staff
  • Assist with procurement activities and project coordination
  • Support budget monitoring, cost tracking, and reporting
  • Assist in the delivery of maintenance operations across the site
  • Contribute to contract performance reporting in line with KPIs
  • Assist in overseeing the daily organisation of staff and allocation of workload
  • Support the Contract Manager in handling escalations and operational issues
  • Contribute to annual appraisals and staff development processes
  • Assist in monitoring daily and weekly team performance
  • Support compliance with Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with all Health and Safety legislation
  • Support staff awareness of Fire Safety procedures
  • Support adherence to ISO processes to ensure departmental/business compliance
  • Undertake monthly training courses as allocated on the Vertex training portal
