Job Purpose
Reporting to the Contract Manager you will be working within the engineering maintenance team. You will provide all-round engineering support, maintaining the building infrastructure. You will have a detailed understanding of all new or current Building Services systems and contingency procedures within the buildings and complying with the Health & Safety/Building Codes of practice.
Job Responsibilities
- Emergency lighting
- Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance.
- Ensure all PPM tasks are carried out on time.
- Provide a reactive and proactive maintenance service to all M&E services on site
- Issue permits in accordance to Vertex policy
- Provide a multi-skilled maintenance service, which covers electrical and mechanical disciplines.
- Provide a service that ensures all mechanical and electrical equipment is running to optimum performance.
- Provide a service that ensures all key performance indicators are met.
- Carry out modifications and installations when required.
- Liaise with sub-contractors and external suppliers.
- Take ownership of tools and equipment provided and ensure they are maintained to an appropriate standard.
