Software Engineer - Data Architecture

We\’re looking for an exceptional Software Engineer – Data Architecture to join a scaleup Medical AI firm aiming to do wonders for drug trial success rates. With big investment and tie-ins secured, a large valuation already and top talent on board.

Responsible for:

• Supporting the buildout of the firms data lakehouse for all the data that comes in, building tools to translate these datasets into the forms needed for researchers
• Building complex data transformation pipelines (dealing with constructing complex queries, converting data, mapping out outputs and put them into a multi step pipeline)

About you:

• Strong Python
• Experience building complex data transformation pipelines
• Experience with Databricks at scale, preferably experience with Iceberg
• Experience with Airflow or dagster
• Experience with AWS & open source technologies on top of dataweave
• Desirable – Medical data exposure is useful but video / image data, not just tabular data.
