We are supporting a fast-growing, ambitious FMCG business in hiring a Demand & Supply Executive to join their supply chain team of three. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across end-to-end supply chain operations within a brand that owns its own manufacturing – from demand planning across multiple time horizons, to collaborating closely with sales teams and working with logistics partners.
The role offers real ownership from day one, with the freedom to suggest improvements, test new ideas, and develop quickly in a fast-paced environment. It also provides exposure to how a high-growth business operates behind the scenes – spanning operations, sales, and product development – and how supply chain acts as the critical link between them.
What you’ll be doing:
- Owning short- and long-term demand planning, coordinating with internal teams to align supply planning with customer demand and ensure product availability.
- Communicating daily with 3PL partners to ensure efficient and accurate fulfilment of customer orders.
- Reporting on service levels and forecast bias, developing clear action plans to improve performance where targets are not being met.
- Building strong relationships with sales and customer supply chain teams to align demand plans with promotional activity, new product launches, and seasonal peaks.
- Monitoring 3PL performance against SLAs and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Overseeing stock levels across the product range to ensure OTIF (on-time in full) delivery performance is maintained, with regular reporting.
- Managing finished goods wastage to ensure it remains within agreed KPI thresholds.
You’ll be based in a great office in Hammersmith, typically working in the office 3 days per week with 2 days working from home. There are also regular monthly visits to the company's dedicated gluten-free bakery.
Perks & Benefits:
- Be part of the next growth chapter.
- Join an experienced, passionate team making gluten-free food more accessible every day.
- Enjoy great benefits: competitive salary, pension, 25 days holiday plus your birthday off, volunteering days, socials, free snacks, coffee, onsite gym and more.
- Gain valuable experience with real opportunities to grow and progress.
Requirements:
We are looking for candidates who bring the following experience and skills:
- Previous experience in supply chain, ideally within demand planning in a fast-paced FMCG or similar environment.
- Strong data analysis skills with a continuous improvement mindset and a focus on efficiency.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage and influence both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving ability, with a structured approach to identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to present information concisely.
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.
