Vertex are working with a reputable electronics manufacturer based in Salford who are actively recruiting for an experienced PA on a permanent basis. The PA will play an integral part in assisting the CEO and senior management with their schedules, travel arrangements, filing and expenses.

General duties include:

  • Diary Management: Coordinate and manage the Managing Director’s schedule, including meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Communication Handling: Act as the first point of contact, managing emails, calls, and correspondence professionally.
  • Meeting Coordination: Organise internal and external meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action points.
  • Travel Arrangements: Arrange flights, accommodation, and itineraries for business trips.
  • Administrative Support: Prepare reports, presentations, and documents, particularly related to manufacturing operations, suppliers, and business strategy.
  • Confidential Matters: Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Project Assistance: Support key business projects, including procurement coordination, supplier management, and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Office Management: Oversee administrative duties such as filing, ordering supplies, managing expenses, and ensuring compliance with manufacturing regulations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to support the Managing Director’s strategic objectives.

To qualify:

  • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
