JOB DESCRIPTION Position: Head of Systems Reporting to: Technical Director Our client is an established and award-winning MSP based in London. Due to the success and growth of their business, they are looking to expand on their existing dynamic team. The Head of Systems will join the management team and report into the Technical Director. We are looking for someone who is ‘hands-on’ and passionate about driving their current service delivery standards whilst making improvements where necessary. You will be responsible for leading 7 members of the NOC team and will be also working closely with the Service Desk Manager and Technical Manager in delivering the range of managed IT services the business offers. Technical Skills Required: Strong understanding of Microsoft’s cloud offering including Office 365 and Azure; Strong understanding of and experience with virtualization platforms; Comprehensive Microsoft stack knowledge; Excellent understanding of networking fundamentals and good understanding of advanced networking concepts; Strong understanding of Firewalls/Routers/Storage; Strong understanding of security products and the cyber threat landscape; Familiar with a variety of backup/BC/DR products. Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required: Proven NOC operational experience within an MSP environment; Good interpersonal skills to read and analyze situations against the bigger picture; Experience in managing in-house and remote teams, energy, drive, and the ability to bring the team with you; Strong influencing skills, cross-functional collaboration with a focus on knowledge sharing; Excellent understanding of ITIL; Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills; Good knowledge of quality standards, compliance, and best practices; Self-aware – Be aware of impact on others and aware of your own strengths and weaknesses; Adaptable – Capable of adapting to others and new situations. Desirable: Knowledge of other non-Microsoft cloud platforms AWS, Google, etc.; Automation and scripting knowledge; Good understanding of Linux; Good understanding of VOIP solutions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
