This position is responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategy for organizational products and services. This role is responsible for delivering consistent messaging that highlights the organization's differentiated value proposition in all sales collateral, conducting knowledge transfer and training of both the direct and indirect sales channels.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages technical product and solution positioning, messaging by prospective buyer role, and ways to overcome competitive objections.
- Builds and maintains proactive, positive relationships with key individual analysts.
- Supports marketing programs, campaigns, and additional assets with content and messaging to drive demand.
- Conducts market research and competitive analysis to understand the competitive landscape in order to make recommendations on segmentation and targeting strategies and to position the organization's product offering and showcase differentiators.
- Defines the user journey and prospect communication touchpoints and identifies other relevant engagement and activation points to drive conversion.
- Collaborates with Product teams to plan and execute promotion and education around new features to drive new revenue and existing customer engagement.
- Contributes to the execution of go-to-market plans and ensures internal organizational readiness.
- Translates technical complexities into clear and digestible product benefits that users can understand and utilize.
- Assesses the effectiveness of the marketing programs that support organizational products on an ongoing basis and reports back to the business on required changes.
- Contributes to core messaging across the organization.
- Participates in projects and performs other duties as assigned.
- Occasional business travel may be required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Strong technical and marketing skills, project and program management, knowledge of the competitive landscape, and a deep understanding of buyer personas.
- Working knowledge of major ERP, e-commerce, and procurement systems (ex. SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Magento, Ariba).
- Deep understanding of enterprise software environments, scalability, and high availability.
- Broad understanding of architecture & technical integrations.
- Comprehensive understanding of the marketing and product planning process.
- Excellent knowledge of marketing strategies and tactics, with the ability to measure ROI.
- Strong analytical skills and passion for analysing products, competitors, and market dynamics.
- Strong presentation skills for external presentations to internal and external audiences.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
- Bachelor's Degree required, MBA a plus.
- Ten (10) plus years of experience in product marketing, program management, consulting, business planning, or customer service technology sector.
- Experience in launching new high-tech products and communicating benefits.
- Experience in conducting market analysis, developing market messaging, and communicating benefits.
- Experience working with a variety of partner types (Technology, SI, VAR) and supporting a diverse set of sales channels and ecosystems.
- Experience working with ecosystem user groups, meet-ups and leadership as both a demand and influence channel.
- Experience in the launch of new services and products which involve collaboration across cross-functional teams.
- Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
