Senior Recruitment Consultant at Vertex Associates – Specialising in Accounting and Finance recruitment

An excellent membership body, based in Central London are seeking a qualified/part-qualified accountant to join the Finance Team for 6 months providing financial and accounting support. Prospective candidates will have proven experience; knowledge of the charity sector is desirable although not essential.

The main duties for this position include:

  • Supporting the Accounts Assistant with reconciliations
  • Providing month end support and reporting around the multi year grant accounting
  • Maintaining the fixed asset register
  • Managing the balance sheet reconciliations
  • Supporting with the new system implementation
  • Performing year end close procedures
  • Liaising with external auditors

To be successful in this position, you must:

  • Be a part or fully qualified qualified accountant
  • Have strong IT skills, ideally with experience in SUN systems or Microsoft Dynamics
  • Great communication and team work skills
