Senior Recruitment Consultant at Vertex Associates – Specialising in Accounting and Finance recruitment
An excellent membership body, based in Central London are seeking a qualified/part-qualified accountant to join the Finance Team for 6 months providing financial and accounting support. Prospective candidates will have proven experience; knowledge of the charity sector is desirable although not essential.
The main duties for this position include:
- Supporting the Accounts Assistant with reconciliations
- Providing month end support and reporting around the multi year grant accounting
- Maintaining the fixed asset register
- Managing the balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting with the new system implementation
- Performing year end close procedures
- Liaising with external auditors
To be successful in this position, you must:
- Be a part or fully qualified qualified accountant
- Have strong IT skills, ideally with experience in SUN systems or Microsoft Dynamics
- Great communication and team work skills
