An exciting opportunity has arisen for a People Partner with a specific focus on Talent Acquisition to work closely with the Head of People. You will bring a marketing edge to attracting high talent into the business and partner with all managers across the community in supporting the execution of our strategy for how we attract, hire, and on-board new people during an exciting period of change. You will play an essential role in advancing a more diverse, accessible, equitable, and inclusive organisation through inclusive practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • In liaison with the marketing team, ensure the positive promotion of the organisation as an employer of choice.
  • Actively promote the information located on our website and other communication tools sharing information about the organisation, and leveraging social media.
  • Highlight aspects like work-life balance, exciting events, and real-life experiences from current employees.
  • Partner with managers, advise and agree on recruitment approaches, and oversee candidate care throughout the selection process.
  • Review and edit job advertisements ensuring our culture and inclusion are at the forefront of our brand.
  • Support new hires post-interview, and ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the organisation, providing necessary access to resources and ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Lead on ensuring effective on-boarding which sets the tone for a positive employee experience.
  • Oversee the UK visa sponsorship system for new recruits and ensure expiry dates for all employees on time-limited visas are in the system.
  • Responsible for ensuring new hires are paid accurately and on time, undertake the monthly payroll checking process in liaison with the external payroll provider and finance colleagues.
  • Optimise job listings to attract not only qualified candidates but also those who align with the company culture.
  • Lead on hiring processes for all engagements throughout the organisation.
  • Undertake analytical job evaluation of posts as required referring these to the external consultant where appropriate.
