Vertex Associates have partnered with a growing Professional Services business to find a Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a hybrid position with 3 days a week in the Leeds office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing monthly management accounts
  • Working closely with the Financial Controller
  • Variance analysis
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Cash flow forecasting
  • VAT returns
  • Overseeing accounts payable and credit control
  • Preparing and reconciling quarterly VAT returns
  • Supporting the annual audit

Key Requirements

  • Part-qualified or Finalist accountant (ACCA/CIMA)
  • At least 3 years experience with exposure management accounts
  • An understanding revenue recognition and WIP
  • Highly organised, a confident communicator, and a natural team player
  • A commercially minded individual with the ability to communicate to non finance colleagues
