Vertex Associates are proud to be partnering with a prestigious education institute in hiring a People Partner on a temporary basis. This is a hybrid position consisting of 3 days a week in their London office.
- Partner with managers across the organisation, providing professional HR advice and guidance.
- Manage a broad range of employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinaries, grievances, probation reviews, absence management and organisational change.
- Support the review and implementation of HR policies, procedures and employment documentation.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and staff feedback programmes.
- Manage probation processes and provide ongoing support to managers and new employees.
- Coordinate learning and development activities, including mandatory training and development programmes.
- Support the delivery of performance review and talent development processes.
- Produce and analyse HR data, KPIs and management information to support business decisions.
- Maintain and improve HR systems, processes and employee communications.
- Support change management and restructuring projects where required.
- Manage apprenticeship programmes and external training providers.
- Support reward, promotion and recognition processes.
- Supervise and support junior members of the People team.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, GDPR and internal policies.
- Champion diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives across the organisation.
- CIPD qualified or equivalent HR experience.
- Experience with iTrent or similar HR systems.
- Proven experience in a generalist HR or HR Business Partner/People Partner role.
- Strong employee relations knowledge with the ability to manage complex cases.
- Experience using HR systems and driving process improvements.
- Previous line management or supervisory experience is beneficial.
