Vertex Associates are proud to be partnering with a prestigious education institute in hiring a People Partner on a temporary basis. This is a hybrid position consisting of 3 days a week in their London office.

Responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with managers across the organisation, providing professional HR advice and guidance.
  • Managing a broad range of employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinaries, grievances, probation reviews, absence management and organisational change.
  • Supporting the review and implementation of HR policies, procedures and employment documentation.
  • Supporting employee engagement initiatives and staff feedback programmes.
  • Managing probation processes and providing ongoing support to managers and new employees.
  • Coordinating learning and development activities, including mandatory training and development programmes.
  • Supporting the delivery of performance review and talent development processes.
  • Producing and analysing HR data, KPIs and management information to support business decisions.
  • Maintaining and improving HR systems, processes and employee communications.
  • Supporting change management and restructuring projects where required.
  • Managing apprenticeship programmes and external training providers.
  • Supporting reward, promotion and recognition processes.
  • Supervising and supporting junior members of the People team.
  • Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, GDPR and internal policies.
  • Championing diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives across the organisation.

Qualifications and experience required:

  • CIPD qualified or equivalent HR experience.
  • Experience with iTrent or similar HR systems.
  • Proven experience in a generalist HR or HR Business Partner/People Partner role.
  • Strong employee relations knowledge with the ability to manage complex cases.
  • Experience using HR systems and driving process improvements.
  • Previous line management or supervisory experience is beneficial.
