What You Will Be Doing
- Develop MES and system integration solutions for various clients
- High level language programming for a variety of applications. This includes .NET, Java, Python, C, C++, SQL, etc.
- Serve as the development lead on projects and interface with technical clients regarding the solution.
- Breakdown the technical components of the project and help lead junior level engineers down the right path
- Design intuitive, easy-to-navigate, aesthetically pleasing user interfaces within the scope of the project
What You Need for this Position
- BS in computer science, math, electrical, mechanical, chemical or related engineering field or relevant experience
- At least 3-7 years of experience developing MES or high level enterprise SCADA systems, preferably in a project based industry.
- Experience with Python, Ignition scripting, backend design, services (REST, API, RPC), databases, SQL (SQL server, Postgres, MySQL), and data modeling
- Experience with Agile methodology and Scrum preferred
- Experience with object-oriented programming, event-driven architecture, and mathematical optimization (e.g. Gurobi, PuLP) are a plus
