Senior FPGA Engineer required by a well-established, specialist wireless communications technology company! This is a key role developing advanced FPGA solutions for complex wireless communications systems, working across the full engineering lifecycle from requirements and design through to implementation, integration and test.
Essential:
- Strong FPGA design and development experience
- VHDL experience
- Digital signal processing (DSP) experience
- Experience developing FPGA-based solutions for communications systems
- Strong digital hardware design skills
- Experience with FPGA simulation, verification and testing
- Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
Nice-to-have:
- Wireless communications experience
- Software Defined Radio (SDR) experience
- Experience implementing communications algorithms on FPGA
- Knowledge of RF/wireless communication systems
- Experience taking FPGA designs through the full development lifecycle
