Key Account Manager Location: Middleton Salary: Circa £40,000 - £60,000 basic + benefits
Account Manager required by a well-established UK-based Manufacturing Company! This is a senior, commercially focused account management role within a specialist manufacturing environment focused on aluminium systems and engineered products. You will manage and develop key accounts, acting as the main point of contact for customers and building relationships with contractors, architects, designers and commercial clients. The role is predominantly office-based (around 80%), with the remainder involving trade shows and client visits.
Essential:
- Proven experience in Account Management or Key Account Management
- Experience in manufacturing environments, ideally within aluminium or engineered products (e.g. lighting, interiors, construction products)
- Strong commercial mindset with experience growing accounts and managing revenue
- Confidence dealing with senior client stakeholders
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable managing pricing, margin and commercial conversations
- Well organised, with experience managing pipeline and forecasts
