Senior RF Engineer
Location: Southampton
Salary:Circa 70K-80K + Excellent Benefits
Senior RF Engineer required by a successful technology company developing advanced communications solutions!
This is a varied, challenging role where you'll play a key role on technically challenging wireless systems, combining hands-on engineering with responsibility for delivering complex projects
Essential:
- Degree in Electronics, Electronic Engineering or a closely related discipline
- Strong commercial wireless communications engineering experience
- Good knowledge of DSP and digital communications
- Experience working with complex electronic or communications systems
- Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
- Experience taking ownership of engineering projects or technical work packages
- Excellent communication skills
- Full UK work rights
- Eligible for UK Security Check (SC) clearance
Nice-to-have:
- Software Defined Radio (SDR)
- RF engineering
- FPGA / digital design
- MATLAB / Simulink
- Embedded or software development
- Communications waveform development
- Experience within defence, security or other technically demanding environments
