Software Safety Engineer
Location: London
Salary: £75K - £85K + Benefits
Software Safety Engineer required by a fast-growing technology business operating within a highly regulated, safety-critical environment!
This is a varied, challenging role assessing software development processes and technical evidence, with a strong focus on software safety, lifecycle assurance, verification and validation, configuration management and risk.
Essential:
4+ years' experience in medical devices or another safety-critical industry, including at least 2 years developing safety-critical software
Practical experience with software lifecycle processes, verification & validation, configuration management and cybersecurity
Strong communication skills and an interest in assessing technical evidence
Knowledge of medical device software standards such as IEC 62304 would be advantageous, although candidates from aerospace, automotive, defence and other safety-critical sectors are also encouraged to apply
