Mechatronics Engineer
Location: Derby
Salary: Circa 38K - 45K + Benefits
Mechatronics Engineer required by a growing specialist business developing innovative automated equipment and technology for a range of advanced engineering applications!
This is a varied, challenging role combining electrical engineering, controls and software, taking projects from initial design and development through to build, integration, testing and commissioning
Essential:
Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Control Engineering, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering or similar
Practical experience with motors, drives, sensors and embedded controllers
Experience with schematic capture and PCB design using KiCad, Altium or similar
Programming experience using Python, C or C++
Hands-on experience building, wiring, testing or commissioning hardware
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Nice-to-have:
Experience with motion control, PLCs, industrial control systems, mechanical CAD or embedded Linux would be advantageous but is not essential.
