Our client requires a Plater for ongoing works/future contracts at their fabrication/manufacturing facility in Swansea. This is a long-term role for any suitable Plater candidates in the Swansea area/surrounding area. Our client is seeking an experienced Plater to join a busy fabrication team. The role involves working with structural steel, carrying out fabrication, plating, and assembly tasks to high standards of accuracy and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out plating and fabrication of structural steel.

In terms of the initial rate for this Plater role, this is £21.50 per hour for the first 40 hours per week then time and a half for all hours worked over the basic 40 hour week to include the first 5 hours on Saturday with the remainder of Saturday and Sunday to be paid at double time when worked. The client is starting to get busy and we therefore anticipate that overtime will be worked for many weeks going forward. Basic hours to be worked 7.30 am - 4.30 pm for this Plater role.
