A growing commercial electrical contractor is looking for a sharp, organised, and commercially minded estimator to join their team and help drive tender success across a wide range of UK projects.
The Role
You’ll take ownership of the full estimating process — turning enquiries into accurate, competitive tenders and supporting smooth handovers into delivery. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love bringing structure to multiple live tenders, this is the role for you.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare detailed electrical estimates. Good understanding of BS 7671 Regulations
- Review drawings/specs and flag risks or discrepancies
- Manage RFIs and tender queries
- Source competitive supplier and subcontractor pricing
- Produce professional tender submissions (Ensign experience a bonus)
- Work with senior management on commercial mark-ups
- Issue offer letters with clear clarifications & exclusions
- Keep clients updated post-submission
- Support handovers and variations during delivery
