We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career looking to develop within a supportive environment and gain exposure across a variety of projects. Working alongside experienced Quantity Surveyors and Senior Commercial staff, you will support the delivery of projects from pre-construction through to final accounts.
Job Role
- Assist with cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Support the preparation of tender and contract documents
- Help manage subcontractor procurement and accounts
- Assist in valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Monitor project costs and provide regular reporting
- Work closely with site teams to ensure commercial control
- Ensure compliance with contractual and financial procedures
Qualifications
- Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
- 1-3 years' experience (or strong placement year experience) in a QS role
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Good understanding of construction processes
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ambition to develop into a fully qualified Quantity Surveyor
