Data Cabling Engineer – Gatwick Airport

Location: Gatwick Airport, RH6
Start Date: Monday
Hours: 7:30am – 3:30pm
Rate: £200–£220 per day, with flexibility for the right candidate
Duration: 4 weeks, with potential for a longer-term extension
The Role
We are currently looking for Data Cabling Engineers to work on a project at Gatwick Airport.
The successful candidates will be responsible for installing and terminating data cabling, working across communications rooms and completing 2nd-fix works.
Duties
- Installing CAT6 data cables
- Installing fibre links between communications rooms
- Completing 2nd-fix data works
- Cable routing, containment and installation
- Working to a high standard within an active airport environment
- Following site health & safety procedures
Requirements
- IPAF required
- Must hold either a CSCS or ECS Card
- Previous data cabling experience required
- Experience with CAT6 and fibre installations xgikmsk
- Must be able to pass a DBS check – candidates do not need to already have a DBS in place to start
- Reliable and able to work professionally within an airport environment
