Our client is a large mechanical and electrical organisation based both in London and Thames Valley. With a number of current projects underway in the Thames Valley area and a healthy pipeline for 2026 & 2027, they seek a competent and enthusiastic Commercial Assistant to support their existing team.
You will be both office and site based as the role requires but this will only enhance the learning and development of the role. We are looking for someone with at least 1 to 2 years commercial or accounting experience, ideally within a construction or mechanical/electrical company. The industry experience is beneficial but not essential as it’s the motivation of the individual, adaptability and willingness to learn with a keen eye for detail we are looking for.
In return, this is an excellent gateway for anyone looking to get into a commercial / quantity surveying role within the construction industry. There is solid development with the company, and you’ll be immersing yourself within a friendly and down to earth team.
Work hours are 8:30am to 5pm. 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays. 1 extra day per year up to 25 days per annum. Parking on site, phone and laptop provided.
