We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Security Technical Analyst to provide hands‑on support for cyber security controls, operational security activities, vulnerability management, technical investigations, and security reporting. The successful candidate will work closely with security, technology, and project teams to ensure effective deployment and monitoring of security controls while supporting ongoing cyber security operations.
This role requires strong technical analysis skills, a good understanding of cyber security principles, and the ability to produce clear documentation, reports, and recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the deployment, implementation, and maintenance of security controls across the technology environment.
- Perform technical analysis of security issues, incidents, vulnerabilities, and control effectiveness.
- Monitor and track identified vulnerabilities through to remediation.
- Produce regular security reports, dashboards, and management updates.
- Assist with technology and security assessments, identifying risks and recommending mitigating controls.
- Support cyber security operational activities and security monitoring processes.
- Review and maintain security documentation, procedures, standards, and operational guidance.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure security requirements are incorporated into project deliverables.
- Investigate security-related events and provide technical input into remediation activities.
- Support governance, risk, and compliance activities where required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the security function.
- Experience working in a Cyber Security, Information Security, or Technical Security Analyst role.
- Strong understanding of cyber security controls, security operations, and vulnerability management.
- Experience conducting technical investigations and analysis of security issues.
- Ability to produce high-quality reports, documentation, and technical findings.
- Knowledge of security monitoring, threat identification, and risk management practices.
- Experience working with security tools, ticketing systems, and reporting platforms.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience supporting projects and delivering security-related outcomes.
