The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Residential Property Lawyer – either a qualified Solicitor or a Licensed Conveyancer (CLC) – to take a leading role within our thriving conveyancing team. This is a senior-level role offering both independence and responsibility, including supervision of junior staff and direct client engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from inception to completion, including freehold, leasehold, new builds, remortgages, right to buy, shared ownership and transfers of equity.
- Supervising junior conveyancers and support staff, including file review and compliance monitoring.
- Maintaining the highest standards of client care, including timely updates and clear communication.
- Ensuring all transactions comply with CQS protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Actively participating in internal quality and risk management initiatives.
- Contributing to business development and supporting the firm’s growth plans.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer (CLC) with 5+ years’ experience in residential conveyancing.
- Proven ability to manage a broad range of property transactions independently.
- Experience in staff supervision or team leadership within a legal environment.
- Strong working knowledge of the CQS framework and SRA compliance obligations.
- Outstanding client communication skills and a commitment to excellent service delivery.
- Ability to thrive in a busy and collaborative team environment.
