This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys practical engineering, structured problem-solving, and taking technical ownership of real-world products throughout their lifecycle. You'll collaborate with experienced specialists across engineering and manufacturing while building the confidence and autonomy expected of a professional engineer.
The Role
You'll contribute to the design, validation, and ongoing support of complex electronic systems, helping ensure products remain reliable from initial release through long-term deployment.
- Managing assigned sections of electronic hardware across development, testing, manufacturing, and in-service support
- Diagnosing and resolving technical faults using systematic investigation and root-cause analysis methods
- Carrying out validation and reliability activities against defined technical requirements
- Supporting new product development through circuit design input, technical reviews, and prototype verification
- Assisting manufacturing teams with production support and test implementation
- Helping improve engineering processes, documentation standards, and development workflows
What We're Looking For
- Qualification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience
- Around 2 years or more working with electronic systems development, testing, or product support
- Ability to manage assigned technical activities with a good level of independence
- Strong analytical thinking and practical debugging capability
- Familiarity with embedded computing platforms and digital electronics concepts
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Additional Experience That Would Be Useful
- Experience in any of the following areas would be beneficial, though not essential:
- Modern digital communication protocols and peripheral interfaces - particularly high-speed.
- Power conversion or regulated power design concepts
- High-performance processor-based hardware platforms
- Supporting hardware products already in manufacture or deployed in operational use
