Are you a Manufacturing Engineer with experience in prototyping and new product introduction, looking to play a key role in bringing complex, high-power products into full-scale production? This is a unique opportunity to join an innovative engineering business working on advanced electronic systems, where you'll support both ongoing development and the transition into full NPI and production.
This is a hybrid Manufacturing Engineer / NPI position, focused on supporting the development and industrialisation of highly complex, high-power electronic products. You'll work closely with engineering and production teams to take evolving designs and turn them into robust, manufacturable products, playing a key role in scaling production capability. The position offers a clear pathway to develop into a dedicated NPI-focused role within 12–24 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the transition of products from prototype to production (NPI)
- Convert incomplete or evolving designs into manufacturable, production-ready solutions
- Work closely with design engineers to refine and improve product performance
- Drive improvements around scalability, manufacturability, and efficiency
- Support production with technical input, process development, and problem solving
- Assist in developing build processes, documentation, and work instructions
- Contribute to ongoing product development, including performance and design optimisation
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a Manufacturing Engineer within a prototyping or low-volume environment
- Strong understanding of NPI processes and product industrialisation
- Experience working with complex electronic or electromechanical products
- Ability to work with evolving designs and bring structure to development projects
- Hands-on, proactive mindset with strong problem-solving ability
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Desirable Experience
- Experience with high power electronics or amplifiers
- Interest or exposure to RF technologies
