Are you an experienced Quality professional looking to take ownership of QA systems within a growing, technology-driven engineering environment? This is an excellent opportunity to lead and develop quality processes across a business working on advanced hardware, software, and firmware products, with increasing focus on high-reliability and regulated markets.
The Role
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with industry standards while supporting engineering and product development teams.
- Act as the key point of contact for all QA-related activities, both internally and externally, driving continuous improvement and ensuring the highest standards are met across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
- Ensure compliance with ISO9001 and support progression toward additional standards.
- Act as the main QA contact for customers across pre-sales, production, and failure analysis.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve quality issues and non-conformities.
- Plan and manage internal and external audit activities.
- Monitor performance through audits, reviews, and customer feedback.
- Produce and maintain quality documentation, reports, and procedures.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of business processes.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure quality is embedded across the product lifecycle.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Physics, Computer Science, or similar.
- Strong experience with ISO9001 and quality management systems.
- Proven background in implementing and developing QMS/BMS systems.
- Experience leading internal and external audits.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and report data.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Structured, methodical, and detail-oriented approach.
- Hands-on mindset with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
Desirable Experience
- Knowledge of automotive or high-reliability quality standards.
- Understanding of risk management and compliance frameworks.
- Experience within engineering or product development environments.
- Familiarity with product compliance and regulatory requirements.
